As entrepreneurs, we find ourselves on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It’s stressful and nerve-wracking yet fulfilling and exciting - more of a wild ride than we anticipated that is for sure.
It’s impossible not to stop and ask ourselves sometimes, is it all worth it? If this was about making money - there is no question we would have quit already. Instead, this journey means so much more, we view Rowdy Kind as our platform to make a real difference in the world.
Today is Giving Tuesday, and our roller coaster is at a peak. Thanks to all of our amazing customers and in collaboration with Work For Good’s #Smallbusinessstar campaign we are able to donate a total of £587 to the Young Minds Charity in support of youth mental health.
Giving Tuesday (the Tuesday after Black Friday / Cyber Monday) was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people and companies to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people, along with non-profits, small businesses, corporations and schools to collaborate and celebrate generosity in a global day of giving.
We are proud to have skipped Black Friday, opting for the second year to join the Giving Tuesday movement instead.
